Blayne Barber was born on December 25, 1989 in Tallahassee, FL. He grew up in the small North Central Florida town of Lake City, playing golf at Quail Heights CC with his dad, who began taking him to the course when he was 3. At 7 years old, Blayne told his mom that he wanted to be a professional golfer when he grew up. Blayne played baseball until he was 12, but decided to give it up to focus on golf full time. As a PGA TOUR rookie for the 2014-2015 season, Blayne amassed four Top-10 finishes, the third most of any rookie. Blayne’s solid play helped him keep his card, and he is currently in the middle of his second PGA TOUR season. His best career PGA TOUR finish to-date, came in February 2016 when he finished 3rd at the Honda Classic, losing only to Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia.
